Terms & Conditions

The terms that govern use of the OrangeRoute platform, booking pages operated for our customers, and passenger services. Last updated October 2026.

Document revision: terms-entity-v1 · Privacy Policy

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the OrangeRoute platform, including the orangeroute.app website, operator admin panels, public booking pages operated on behalf of bus and motorcoach companies ("Operators"), and passenger services such as tickets, tracking and self-service changes (collectively, the "Services").

These Terms form a contract between the subscribing business and ORANGE TECH LABS INC. ("Company", "we", "us"), operator and owner of Orange Route. Orange Route (also styled OrangeRoute) is a trade and product brand of the Company, not a distinct corporation. If you accept these Terms on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorised to bind that business. Requesting a demo alone does not enter a subscription contract.

2. Operator accounts

Access to the OrangeRoute operator platform is provided to Operators under a separate service agreement with the Company. These Terms do not replace or amend that agreement’s existing commercial provisions. Operator accounts are created by invitation or through our sales team; accounts may not be shared between companies, and each Operator is responsible for the activity of its team members.

Operators are responsible for the accuracy of the schedules, fares, routes, amenities and policies they publish through the platform, and for honouring the tickets their customers purchase.

3. Bookings, tickets and payments

Tickets sold through Operator booking pages are sold by the Operator whose brand appears on the page. The Company provides the booking, ticketing and related technology and never takes possession of passenger ticket funds; payments are processed by the Operator's payment provider and settle directly to the Operator.

The Company is a ticketing SaaS provider, not a transport operator or carrier. Passenger conditions of carriage, journey performance and refunds belong to the transport Operator; any separately applicable platform rules must actually be disclosed and do not replace that Operator’s carriage conditions.

Service fees, taxes and currency of a booking are shown to the passenger before payment. Cancellations, refunds and changes are governed by the Operator's published policy, which is presented to the passenger at checkout and in the ticket's manage page.

The Company may suspend access to the Services for non-payment of the Company's own subscription or usage fees, unlawful use, or conduct that jeopardises the security or availability of the platform.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse the Services or interfere with their operation; attempt to gain unauthorised access to other companies' data; scrape, resell or republish content from the Services without permission; circumvent seat inventory, capacity or fare controls; or use the Services to violate any applicable law, including consumer-protection and transportation regulations.

We may investigate suspected violations and remove content or restrict accounts where reasonably necessary.

5. Intellectual property

The Services, including software, design, text and graphics, are owned by the Company and protected by intellectual-property laws. Operator content — brands, schedules, fares and imagery an Operator publishes — remains the property of that Operator.

Public booking widgets, GTFS feeds and API endpoints are made available to Operators and channel partners under their respective agreements; they may not be redistributed otherwise.

6. Third-party services

The Services rely on third-party providers for mapping, payments, email delivery, sign-in and other functions. Those providers operate under their own terms, and the Company is not responsible for third-party services beyond facilitating the integration.

Links from the Services to external sites are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

7. Availability and support

We aim for the Services to be available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned maintenance is scheduled to minimise disruption to Operators and passengers.

Support is available to Operators through their account contacts and to passengers through the Operator whose ticket they hold; contact details appear on each ticket.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Services are provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and is not liable for transportation delays, cancellations or the acts of Operators and carriers.

To the extent permitted by law, the Company's aggregate liability arising from the Services is limited to the fees paid by the affected Operator to the Company in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are announced on orangeroute.app or by email, and continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the Company's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
